WARNING X-RATED WORDS HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE POETRY SECTION...DON'T LOOK AT HER MORNING FIRE!
6 Comments There comes a time when you have to take a step back and realize that various shortcomings have found you. Strife is futile so one must go on to the next path that will take you through the riddled forest. For myself that path began with a head clearing which involved me, myself, and Bombay. Afterward I then proceeded to a writer's conference, my first, which was a tremendously enriching experience that has/will greatly veer my writing toward my goal of having my drawn words being considered amongst my peers. And following the nearly nine hour event I opted for tumultuous fun: I took myself, two friends, and my camera to the Barracks to photograph the beautiful bartenders as shots and Guinness was downed accordingly. There comes a time to say, "fuck it", smile, and continue incessantly. Tomorrow is the SUNY Suffolk Creative Writing Conference in Selden, NY and I will be attending. I have submitted poetry/story to the contests and hope to be given an opportunity to read there. I will be taking part in a couple of the writing workshops as well as taking in the complementary meal given...ummm free food. Where do I sign up? Oh wait I already have. I'll have numerous writing samples with me and it should be a blast! My Astronomy class is haunting my dreams - where the world is tilting on its axis (see my future novels) - and bleeding into my brain's folds here and there. Read the Newest Drawing of Words, HAUNTED WITH PLEASURE/PAIN in the Poetry Section. Check out an excerpt here to see what I am saying about the Solar System Class influencing me: It was just hours ago that the official Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Trailer #4 was released and you can watch it here in the Videos Section in High Definition! It looks absolutely amazing! The grown up and now dark, serious, imperiled world of wizardry will capture the minds of everyone on July 17 (and beyond) with this movie. This is the one that everyone will be talking about, and even those who look down upon that kiddie fantasy series will have to swallow their pride and flock to theaters to embellish in the action and entertainment of this incredibly deep story from J.K. Rowling! Long live great story from great books! From a collection of E.E. Cummings "Spring" works I am posting a couple of his words on being young and loving maidens in the season of Spring: I draw words again and again. I can not stop. I have just written "I Query" and taken am awesome picture to go along with it. View them in the POETRY Section. Let me know what you think. I am very curious... Check out my newest pictures of Hockey, Girls, and Violence! What the hell happened as I drove up to Boston after work yesterday?! In a short span of hours the entire sports world was reversed on its axis and this, just a day after the Jets missed out on Cutler and the Bears reaped the benefits, plundering the ridiculously moronic Denver Broncos (I'll never root for them...ever). Yesterday the New York "Football" GIANTS, My Team, released Plax Burress. I'll say it again released him! They could have held him until the courts took him away, or let him play, but no they released him so that now they will never have that tall #1 caliber receiver to pull in the winning Super Bowl fade. What the Fu$% are they thinking? How can a guy in jail even be a distraction to them? And whats more the New York METS, my baseball team since birth, have taken on the aged crazy swinging star Gary Sheffield! All while I was away from a TV and computer for just a few hours. Scary! The Mets, already set with a monster outfield, talent wise that is, have just aquired an oft injured power swing in Gary Sheffield to hit against lefties when Ryan Church is not. I was not too happy with this move, until I read that this should finally kick Marlon "I bat .180" Anderson off the team! Thank God!!!!! It looks like I'll see a great New York Rangers victory in Boston today and drink to celebrate sports tonight! |
